We believe in the transformative power of education. Through our Literacy course we support members who did not have timely access to formal education, strengthening their reading and writing skills and opening new personal and professional opportunities.

From informal work to recognition
For decades, waste pickers worked without recognition. Today, Decree 1381 of 2024 opened the path to their formalization as providers of the public waste-recovery service, with tariff-based remuneration. We support our families in that transition toward decent work, with training and wellbeing.
